Dangerous Hunts 2011 Game Review By Arcadegames If by chance you have not seen the 2011 version of Cabela's Dangerous Hunts, then you might view the name and just think it's a big game hunting simulator of some type. Everyone have seen this variety of hunting game in the past, the kind where you pick your hunting rifle, select your camouflage, and waste a lot of time trying to discern the difference among deer droppings and a clump of mud. Yet somewhere among a wild couger in dramatic slow motion and scaring away hungry wild wolves who have menacing red demon eyes, you'll realize that belief does not quite apply to this particular game.
This version of Dangerous Hunts 2011 is more accurately described as a game of survival first and as a hunting game second. The story line has you in the shoes of a adventerer whose name is Cole whose adventure finds him going through a variety of hunting areas across America and Canda and Africa to hunt animals that have have been possessed by evil spirits. One particular level you are shown Cole coming out from an avalanche in the middle of night, making his way across the cold woods and fending off menacing animals trying to stalk him while dealing with natural hazards, such as unseen game traps and a frozen over river.
Like with earlier versions of Dangerous Hunts, you will play Dangerous Hunts 2011 by using a special gun peripheral equipped with a telescopic telescopic sight and adjustable stock, in addition to analog sticks in order to control your range of motion so that the player don't have to play the game on rails. The red telescopic sight is neat, and enjoyable to use. It is really really complicated to see through the thing. To be able to use it, you hit the A button and it makes the screen viewable through the red lens. Still, it can be difficult to see through the scope, making for a frustrating game.
The brand new gun controller comes with a feature called Hunter Vision. This feature will show hidden things by momentarily rendering the game screen a very mixed up assortment of red tinted colors that can be decoded by peering through the telescopic sight of the gun as though the scope were infrared. For those players that had the old gun in which the trigger assembly was located in the front, this gun is a whole lot better. The trigger is now in the rear, and the front has a pump reload. Also, all of the controls are customizable (unlike last time). The gun is fully adjustable so particularly heavy people are able to keep the stock of the rifle in their shoulder while peering through the telescopic sight, allowing for a very real feeling to the game.
In addition to the aforementioned story mode, the game will have with a number of other modes, including multiplayer options, such as the Shooting Gallery like other
hunting games. Also, Cabela's Dangerous Hunts in general is exceptionally difficult to play. I really had fun playing the game and I also enjoy
hunting games online as much as possible.
